Anakabtis the Elocharis orchid it inhabits wetlands and wet locations as its name suggests. It was described by Himberg, Germany in 1786 under the name Orchis palustris. Tall and bushy plant, up to 1 meter high and 3-5 lanceolate sessile leaves. Blooms in April with 15-16 large violet flowers, in a sparse elongated inflorescence.
