Agios Markos
Pantokratoros monastery
Four kilometers of narrow, winding road from the intersection of the central Corfu-Kassiopi road lead to the entrance of Spartila . A divine route as after each turn the amazing view of eastern Corfu is revealed one level higher. You will need two extra kilometers to reach the center of the village but the result will be worth it. Here is a very beautiful traditional village with many waters with a spring in the church of Panagia and two or three cafes to rest . It is a traditional medieval village with narrow streets, a magical goddess and a beautiful landscape with many waters, which is located on the southern side of Pantokrator, in the northern part of the island. The view from the church of Agios Arsenios is awe-inspiring as it is located at the highest point of the village. Just before Spartilas Village it is worth stopping at the big bend and enjoying the unique view. In front of you stretches eastern Middle Corfu from Dasia and the island of Gerekou to the town of Corfu and the islet of Vidos.
In Spartila, the form of the communist and labor movement Agis Stinas was born in 1900.
